Mending a Broken Heart

Macie, is tired of her meaningless relationship with someone who doesn’t want to aspire to be independent, nor make a commitment.  She allowed one of her best friends to talk her into attending the Hampton Gavin, a nationally syndicated radio personality’s, Island Beach Jam party in Cancun. Macie is very cautious about having her heart on the line again in another meaningless relationship.

Hampton Gavin has achieved success with the many books he’s written, his nationally syndicated radio show and continual upward moving of his career.  He’s even successful with his 9 year old daughter, as much as his ex-wife will let him.  What he’s not successful in is his personal relationships, his marriage ended with betrayal from his wife and his best friend.  And he’s had many meaningless relationships, since then all ending in nothing worth mentioning.  Hampton has all but resorted to work and being there for his daughter.

When Macie ignores him on his way to Cancun for the Island Jam Party, his interest is peaked.  Will this relationship end the same way as the others? Or will it blossom like a beautiful flower or will unforeseen circumstances from his ex-wife keep them apart?
